Longtime Tampa Bay chef opening a new restaurant in St. Petersburg

Chef Ted Dorsey, known for his work at several Tampa Bay restaurants, is set to open a new casual dining spot called Sunshine City Tavern in St. Petersburg. Scheduled to debut in January 2025, the restaurant will celebrate the 1990s vibe of the area and is located at the site of the recently closed Oaks on 4th.
