New policies have also been established, allowing eligible defendants to perform community service instead of paying fines, provided they are deemed indigent by the court.

Additionally, a revised approach to modifying or rescinding domestic violence no-contact orders has been implemented, emphasizing the importance of following proper procedures. These updates reflect the court's dedication to serving the Gig Harbor community efficiently and responsively.
