Helen Frances Robinson Whearty, affectionately known as Robbie, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2023, at the age of 92. Born on June 20, 1931, in Buffalo, NY, she was raised as the only child on a family farm. Robbie pursued her education at Syracuse University, majoring in Home Economics, where she met her husband, Lester Marvin Whearty. Following her father's passing in 1967, she returned to Barker, NY, to assist her mother in managing the family fruit farm, demonstrating her dedication to family and community. Throughout her life, Robbie was celebrated for her exceptional needlework, teaching sewing to local 4-H Club members and earning accolades at craft shows.

In 1984, she and Lester retired to Fort Myers, Florida, before relocating to Sun City West, Arizona, where she continued to nurture friendships. Robbie's legacy is cherished by her son, daughter, and granddaughter, who fondly remember her creativity and warmth. Her life is a testament to the joy she brought to those around her and her unwavering spirit.
