West Hollywood Community Gardens Waitlist Reopens for Residents
The City of West Hollywood has reopened its waitlist for Community Gardens, allowing residents to apply for planter beds online and in-person at the Plummer Park Community Center or the West Hollywood Park Aquatic and Recreation Center. Applicants must present two forms of proof of residency, with low-income residents aged 55 and older receiving priority based on specific income guidelines. The waitlist will remain active to fill vacancies throughout the year, welcoming all residents regardless of priority status. Once notified of an available space, participants must pay an annual fee of $120 and a $20 key deposit for access to the gated gardens. The City encourages community engagement by providing various contact methods for questions and updates, including phone and email, and residents can follow the City on social media for further news and information.
This initiative aims to enhance community involvement and promote gardening in West Hollywood.
