Masked man shot during carjacking attempt outside St. Pete restaurant, cops say
A masked man was shot during an attempted carjacking outside the Crafty Crab restaurant in St. Petersburg on Wednesday night. The victim, who was waiting in a vehicle for his wife, defended himself by firing back at the assailant, identified as 18-year-old Simon White, who is now in critical but stable condition. White is expected to face charges once released from the hospital.
