Pet of the Week Cowboy

Tacoma, WALocal News

Cowboy, a lovable 2-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, is available for adoption at the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County. He has a friendly demeanor, enjoys cuddles, and previously bonded well with a resident dog in his foster home. This spring, the shelter braces for an influx of over a thousand orphaned kittens, many needing immediate medical attention and care. Donations during the virtual Kitten Shower are vital to ensure these kittens receive proper support. Cowboy is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, making him a promising pet for potential owners.

He is suited for a home with teens and adults, fitting well into various living situations. The shelter's efforts highlight the critical need for community support in animal welfare. Helping Cowboy and the incoming kittens can provide them with the care they deserve.
