An alum treatment at Blackmans Lake will commence on March 28, 2025, lasting approximately six days, during which the lake will be closed to the public for safety and monitoring. Alongside this, the city is excited to host its third annual United Colors of Holi Festival on March 30, which celebrates spring with vibrant colors, music, and food, starting at 1 PM. The Public Safety Board is actively seeking applicants to fill two vacancies, with applications due by April 2, 2025, highlighting the importance of community involvement in public safety initiatives. Furthermore, the city will hold a free Annual Garbage and Recycle Drop Off Event on April 12, encouraging residents to dispose of unwanted items responsibly.
