Silverdale, WALocal News

The Silverdale Chamber of Commerce has officially launched a new Visitor Information Center within Kitsap Mall, celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Located just outside Macy's, this center aims to take advantage of the mall's significant foot traffic to boost local visibility and community engagement. Chamber President Kathleen Gordon highlighted the location's potential for promoting business tourism, with plans for various expos and workshops in the upcoming months. The center is equipped with two large projectors displaying local promotions, a range of brochures, business cards, and a directory of chamber members. Additionally, a touch screen kiosk will be installed in the mall corridor to assist visitors.

Gordon noted an increase in walk-in inquiries about local amenities, showcasing strong community interest. With over four decades of service to the local business landscape, this strategic move aligns with the Chamber's mission to enhance visitor experiences and encourage exploration of the Kitsap area.
