Good Samaritan jumps in to help save elderly woman in Lake Stevens

A good Samaritan, witnessing the car sinking, called 911 and bravely entered the frigid 40-degree water to assist the trapped driver.
Firefighters praised the Samaritan's quick thinking and decisive action, stating that without this intervention, the driver may not have escaped the vehicle. Upon arrival, rescuers found the car approximately 100 feet from the shore, with the elderly woman still inside. Both the driver and the Samaritan received treatment for cold water exposure after the rescue.
