Chehalis Police are on the lookout for two suspects involved in a recent truck theft and an attempted ATM heist that occurred on July 1, 2022. At approximately 4:25 AM, officers responded to a call regarding the attempted theft at a credit union located in the 2000 block of NE Kresky Avenue. The suspects had stolen a Ford F350 pickup truck from Main Street in Centralia and drove it to the credit union, attempting to pull the ATM from the ground with the stolen vehicle. Their efforts were unsuccessful, leading them to abandon the truck a short distance away before fleeing the scene. Authorities are concerned about the potential for these individuals to commit further crimes and are asking for public assistance in identifying them.

Detective Sgt. Ayers from the Chehalis Police Department is urging anyone with information to contact the police. The community’s awareness and involvement are critical in preventing future incidents. As the investigation continues, police emphasize the need for vigilance against such brazen criminal activities.
