Centralia Police recover multiple firearms from robbery suspect's apartment

Centralia Police have arrested Jeremy A. Sturdevant, 42, in connection with an attempted robbery at a convenience store on Saturday morning. The incident unfolded around 9:15 a. m. when Sturdevant entered the store and displayed a firearm, demanding cash from the clerk.

He left in a light-colored Saturn without obtaining any money. Investigators traced his vehicle to an apartment complex in Chehalis, where they apprehended him. Following his arrest, police executed a search warrant at Sturdevant's apartment and seized multiple firearms, raising concerns about his potential threat level. He has been charged with first-degree robbery and extortion and is currently held at Lewis County Jail. The police are seeking any additional information from the public regarding this incident.
