The City of West Hollywood has officially announced the recipients of its 2025 Arts Grant Program, allocating a total of $252,000 to 28 new grantees and 9 multi-year grantees. Since its inception in 1997, this program has aimed to fund projects that engage and uplift the local community through arts and culture. A total of 62 applications were received, showcasing a wide variety of artistic disciplines. The West Hollywood City Council approved the peer panel's recommendations on November 4, 2024. The grant program includes several categories, such as the Arts Project Grant for local arts initiatives, the Transgender, Gender Diverse, Intersex Arts Grant for projects by transgender artists, and the Community Arts Grant that emphasizes support for BIPOC and LGB communities.

Additionally, the WeHo Artist Grant assists local artists in their professional development, while the new 40th Anniversary Cultural History Grant celebrates West Hollywood's rich history. This funding initiative underscores the city's ongoing commitment to fostering a vibrant and inclusive arts scene.
