West Hollywood Hosts Free Small Business Workshop Ahead of Major Sporting Events
The City of West Hollywood is hosting a Small Business Certification and Procurement Workshop on December 5, 2024, designed to empower local business owners with vital resources and knowledge. This initiative, in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Economic Opportunity and other local organizations, comes in anticipation of major events such as the FIFA World Cup and the LA 2028 Summer Olympics, which will create numerous economic opportunities. The workshop will guide participants on how to register with the City of West Hollywood, the City of Los Angeles, and Los Angeles County for procurement opportunities. Attendees will receive personalized assistance with business registration, tax certificates, and navigating procurement portals. Although the workshop is free, prior registration is encouraged via a Google Form link provided in the announcement.
For further inquiries or to register, participants can contact the Economic Mobility Initiative Intake Specialist or the City’s Economic Development Director. This event aims to bolster small businesses and prepare them for the economic activities associated with these major sporting events.
