City of West Hollywood to Celebrate National Night Out on August 6, 2024
The City of West Hollywood is gearing up to celebrate National Night Out on August 6, 2024, with an array of community-oriented events designed to strengthen neighborhood ties and combat crime. Activities will include block parties, barbecues, and live entertainment, all available free of charge to participants. The festivities will take place from 4 p. m. to 9 p.
m. , during which some street closures will be implemented to ensure safety. This year marks the 41st Annual National Night Out, a campaign that began in 1984 to encourage community involvement in crime prevention efforts. Nationwide, over 35 million people are expected to unite in their neighborhoods to celebrate their commitment to safety and community engagement.
