, participants can enjoy a day of walking, biking, and rolling through iconic streets, with Santa Monica Boulevard closed to vehicles from 6 a. m. to 6 p. m. Two activity hubs will be established along the route, providing essential services such as first aid, bicycle parking, and merchandise sales, along with fun activities like Drag Story Hour led by the City’s Drag Laureate.
The event will culminate in a free outdoor concert at Plummer Park featuring The Neighborhood Orchestra, known for their genre-blending performances, and DJ Aaron Paar, a veteran of the LA music scene. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnics and blankets, while food will be available for purchase. The City advises using public transportation or rideshare services due to street closures and limited parking. The PickUp, a free weekend ride service, will also run on a modified schedule to accommodate attendees. This initiative aims to foster community engagement and promote healthier lifestyles through car-free streets.
