City of West Hollywood Presents Free Theatre in the Parks: Pacific Opera Project’s Cinderella Story
The City of West Hollywood is excited to announce a free outdoor theatre production titled "Cinderella Story," a creative mashup of Jules Massenet and Gioacchino Rossini's adaptations of the classic fairy tale. Beginning September 7, 2024, the performances will take place at Kings Road Park and will run for two weekends, concluding on September 22. Directed by Jack Zager, this family-friendly opera will last approximately 90 minutes and is designed to captivate audiences of all ages. The production is expected to feature a talented cast, including Lydia Brown, Jessica Gonzalez-Rodriguez, and Byron Mayes, and will be performed in English with live piano accompaniment. The Pacific Opera Project (POP) is collaborating with the City’s Arts Division to deliver this engaging theatre experience, highlighting their mission to make opera accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
