City of West Hollywood to Co-Sponsor Inaugural LGBTQ Certification Summit
The City of West Hollywood is collaborating with the California LGBTQ Chamber of Commerce to co-sponsor the inaugural LGBTQ Certification Summit, designed to empower LGBTQ-owned businesses. This significant event will occur on August 28, 2024, from 10 a. m. to 2 p. m.
at Plummer Park's Fiesta Hall. Attendees are required to register in advance and pay a nominal fee of $25, although no one will be turned away due to financial constraints. The summit aims to equip participants with vital information on obtaining Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Business Enterprise certification, along with insights into contracting opportunities and effective business growth strategies. The event will feature three informative panel discussions focused on state contracting, supplier diversity, and access to capital, creating valuable networking opportunities. Exhibitors from various organizations supporting LGBTQ businesses will also be present.
