63-year-old man dies in solo car crash in Kings County

A 63-year-old man from Lemoore tragically lost his life in a solo-vehicle crash in Kings County, California, on Thursday evening. According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 7:40 p. m. on Fremont Avenue near 21st Avenue, just northwest of Lemoore. While driving a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox, the man veered off the road for reasons yet to be determined, hitting a mailbox before rolling onto its passenger side and colliding with a tree.

Emergency responders pronounced the man dead at the scene, and his identity has not been disclosed pending notification of his family. Investigators have stated that drugs and alcohol do not appear to be contributing factors in the crash. The incident has left the local community in shock as they come to terms with the sudden loss. Authorities are continuing their investigation to uncover the circumstances that led to this tragic event.
