Scheduled for March 2, 2024, the "Digital Yukata Creator Fest" is an exciting event organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and MetaTokyo Inc. at SusHi Tech Square. Participants will have the chance to design their own digital yukatas using traditional coloring techniques, facilitated by a creative environment that promotes interaction with digital technology. The event will also feature notable guest artists, including Tokolo Asao, KAREN11, and Soultry Dubs, who will contribute to the creative atmosphere. After the initial design phase, a voting event will select 30 designs for display and distribution within the metaverse, emphasizing community engagement and participation.

The final event will take place in the metaverse, allowing users' avatars from around the globe to wear the chosen digital yukatas, with a live viewing option at the physical venue.
