Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo’s Sea of Clouds installation features a magical full moon

Tokyo, TokyoLocal News

Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo has unveiled its captivating "Sea of Clouds" light-up installation, designed to celebrate the breathtaking beauty of the autumn moon. This stunning display, located in the hotel’s lush traditional Japanese garden, recreates the enchanting phenomenon known as unkai, or "sea of clouds," typically seen in Japan's mountainous areas during spring and autumn. The highlight of the installation is a gigantic full moon projection, approximately three meters in diameter, which is showcased at specific intervals every evening. Visitors can enjoy the serene ambiance of the garden in between moon viewings, which last for about seven minutes each session. Although the garden is primarily reserved for hotel guests, non-staying visitors can access it by dining at one of the hotel's restaurants.

The installation will be open until November 11, making it a timely attraction for both locals and tourists seeking to experience the beauty of this seasonal event. For additional details and updates, guests are encouraged to visit the hotel's official website. This unique blend of nature and technology offers a magical escape from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo.
