Tokyo to Hold “Festival d‘été de TOKYO” in Paris
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is excited to announce the “Festival d‘été de TOKYO,” a vibrant public relations event to be held in Paris from July 26 to August 1, 2024. This festival aims to showcase the unique cultural charms of Tokyo and promote tourism to the city. A series of engaging activities will take place, including live performances that highlight traditional Japanese arts such as calligraphy and martial arts, alongside interactive workshops for visitors of all ages. Notable performers include renowned calligrapher Nobutaka Hayashi and the Iyasaka Project, which will present a captivating taiko performance. The event will also feature exhibition booths displaying traditional crafts and products, along with opportunities to sample and purchase local sake and sweets.
Admission is free, making it an accessible cultural experience for the public.
