Five million red spider lilies will be blooming at this Saitama park soon

Tokyo, TokyoLocal News

The annual autumn flower festival at Kinchakuda Manjushage Park in Saitama Prefecture is anticipated to showcase five million stunning red spider lilies from September 18 to October 2, 2024. This event draws visitors from Tokyo and beyond, eager to witness the breathtaking fields of scarlet blooms. In addition to the flowers, festival-goers can enjoy local food, drinks, and unique souvenirs available at various booths. However, the blooming has been affected by unusually hot weather, causing a delay in the flowers' growth. Organizers recommend that visitors check the flowering status frequently to determine the best time to visit.

Large crowds are expected, especially on weekends, so using public transportation is highly suggested. The park operates from 9 AM to 4:30 PM, with an entry fee of ¥500, while junior high school students and younger children can enter for free. For those looking to capture the beauty of the flowers, it's important to remember that tripods are not permitted within the park.
