U. S. Coast Guard crews were searching for a 70-year-old-man who was last seen departing a Marco Island marina and headed to Indian Rocks Beach. Bert Erwin was last seen Wednesday at Rose Marina in Marco Island, according to a news release from the U. S.
Coast Guard. Air and surface crews were searching for him late Wednesday. Both Erwin and his vessel, a white fishing boat with an inboard motor, were still missing Thursday morning, said Petty Officer Riley Perkofski. Anyone with information should call U. S.
