Tampa Police Arrest Major Drug Suppliers, Seize Guns and Narcotics

A recent investigation by the Tampa Police has culminated in the arrest of Antonio Lagreera and Kendric Daniels, who were identified as major suppliers of narcotics in the Sulphur Springs area. The investigation began in 2023 and involved undercover operations and meticulous evidence gathering, leading to a search warrant executed on September 4, 2024. At the targeted residence, police uncovered eight firearms, ammunition, and a substantial cache of drugs, including 224 grams of fentanyl, 221. 1 grams of methamphetamine, and over 700 grams of cocaine. The operation also resulted in the seizure of nearly $16,000 in cash, indicating the scale of the drug trafficking operation.

Chief Lee Bercaw lauded the detectives' determination and efforts, asserting that the community is now safer as a result of this operation. Both suspects face multiple charges, including armed trafficking and possession of controlled substances with intent to sell. The police department reiterated its zero-tolerance policy towards illegal narcotics activity and commitment to holding offenders accountable. This operation reflects ongoing efforts to combat drug-related crime in Tampa.
