On Friday, August 16, 2024, Denise Prudhomme, a 60-year-old worker at the Wells Fargo corporate offices in Tempe, Arizona, scanned into her workplace for what would unknowingly be the last time. She was found dead in her cubicle on the third floor by Tempe police on Tuesday, August 20, after not having left the building since she last scanned in.
