23 years ago with a mission to support the community through various means, including affordable housing. Despite initial slow progress, construction for eight out of the ten planned homes has begun. The Department of Veterans Affairs has ambitious plans for 2024, aiming to house thousands of homeless veterans and prevent their return to homelessness. This tiny home village is part of broader efforts to provide veterans with the opportunity to live independently in a secure and affordable environment. Dr. Jones emphasizes the importance of giving back to veterans who have sacrificed for the country, highlighting the project's significance in supporting them to age with dignity.
