S. Marine Dominic Yacca and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Officer Specialist Kelsey Dalton received accolades for their bravery in saving a man trapped in his submerged vehicle. The incident unfolded on a foggy and rainy night near Pop's Sunset Grill in Nokomis when Yacca heard an announcement about a vehicle in distress.
