You may hear some cannon sounds coming from the Tampa Convention Center Front Drive (near The Sail Plaza) on Friday, September 20. No, Gasparilla isn't here early! It's for a private event. The Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla and their parade float will welcome the Tampa Bay Sports Commission and their guests on the Front Drive around noon. The theatrical noise props (cannons) will last no more than 15 seconds.
