Almost 60 players are set to report to camp practices at the TGH Ice Plex in Brandon. All practices are free and open to the public. The opening pre-season game is Tuesday, Sept. 24 against Carolina at Amalie Arena. The Bolts drop the puck on the regular season October 11th at Carolina.

Tampa Bay is set to begin life without captain Steven Stamkos, who signed with Nashville via free agency this summer. Stamkos left Tampa Bay after 16 seasons, two Cup titles and two additional trips to the final to sign a four-year, $32 million contract with Nashville. Tampa Bay did extend defenseman Victor Hedman and signed forward Jake Guentzel to a seven-year contract.
