Quota of Tacoma gives back generously

Tacoma, WALocal News

Quota of Tacoma has been a beacon of hope in the Tacoma community for over 85 years, focusing on empowering women, children, and individuals in need. The organization prioritizes partnerships with smaller social service agencies that often go unnoticed in the funding landscape. One such partner is Coffee Oasis, which provides crucial support to homeless youth, and recently received a $2,500 donation from Quota. Their outreach includes hands-on activities, fundraising, and scholarship awards to further their mission. Quota also collaborates with the Family Renewal Shelter, a vital program for domestic violence victims, to create 'Flee Bags' that provide essential items for those in crisis.

By identifying and addressing the needs of less-funded organizations, Quota of Tacoma ensures that its contributions have a significant impact. The dedication of its members, who prefer to work quietly behind the scenes, speaks volumes about their commitment to community service. Through these initiatives, Quota of Tacoma continues to uplift vulnerable populations and foster a spirit of generosity in Pierce County.
