Two men, Demondrae Jones and Rocco Anthony Fanara, have been charged with first-degree assault and drive-by shooting in connection with a retaliatory shooting in Gig Harbor, linked to the 2021 murder of 19-year-old Tyrone Sero. The victims, siblings of a convicted murderer associated with Sero's case, were targeted amid escalating gang tensions. On June 6, 2023, after dining at a local Chipotle, the siblings were followed and shot at by Jones and Fanara. Thankfully, no injuries resulted from the incident. Prosecutors presented surveillance footage tying the suspects to the restaurant and the shooting, supported by eyewitness accounts.

With bail set at $500,000 each, the court proceedings will further investigate the motivations behind this attack, underscoring the ongoing violence and retaliatory actions linked to gang conflicts in the region.
