Tacoma Grocery Store Holiday Hours Last-Minute Shopping Before Christmas

As Christmas approaches, Tacoma grocery stores are adjusting their hours to accommodate last-minute shoppers. Safeway will be open from 5 a. m. to 7 p. m.

on Christmas Eve and from 8 a. m. to 5 p. m. on Christmas Day.

Fred Meyer will close early at 6 p. m. on Christmas Eve and will not open on Christmas Day, with pharmacies closing at 5 p. m. on December 24.

WinCo Foods will have one location open for over 24 hours starting December 23, but both locations will close on Christmas Day. Other stores, including Metropolitan Market, Tacoma Boys, Costco, Walmart, and Target, will also be closed on Christmas Day, with specific hours for Christmas Eve. This information is crucial for Tacoma residents planning their holiday shopping and meal preparations, and shoppers are advised to confirm hours at their nearest locations before heading out.
