Tragically, one victim suffered significant facial injuries during an attempt to resist. The police have launched an intensive investigation and released images of suspects seen using stolen credit cards.

Authorities urge residents to be vigilant and take precautions with their belongings. Busey noted that such incidents are rare in Gig Harbor, although they can occur in waves. The community is encouraged to prioritize personal safety and report any suspicious activities to law enforcement.
