The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed the identity of Kristen Heber, a 22-year-old Federal Way resident, as the victim of a fatal crash in Tacoma. Heber succumbed to multiple blunt-force injuries from an accident that occurred last Friday on Norpoint Way Northeast. Initially pronounced dead at the scene by Tacoma Fire personnel, she was later resuscitated at a hospital but sadly passed away shortly thereafter. Her family has made the noble decision to donate her organs, providing life-saving opportunities for five different recipients. The accident resulted in the temporary closure of part of Norpoint Way Northeast, highlighting the serious nature of the incident.

Local authorities, including police spokesperson Shelbie Boyd, are conducting an investigation to determine the factors leading to the crash. This tragic event raises awareness about road safety and the impact of vehicle accidents on communities.
