The Edmonds Driftwood Players, a respected nonprofit community theatre in Edmonds, WA, is excited to announce its 2025 scholarship program, designed to support aspiring theatre artists. The program features three distinct scholarships, each valued at $1,000: the Ralph Eaton Technical Theatre Scholarship, which prioritizes applicants pursuing technical degrees; the Theatre Arts Scholarship; and the AC & Norma Gehrig Memorial Scholarship. Eligible candidates must be graduating high school seniors or current college students with a permanent residence in Snohomish or King counties. Demonstrated involvement in theatre arts is crucial for applicants, who must submit a comprehensive application by the deadline of June 8, 2025. Each application must include transcripts, a resume detailing theatrical participation, a recommendation letter, and a personal essay.

The selection process will evaluate the completeness and presentation of submissions, underscoring the importance of a well-prepared application. The Ralph Eaton Technical Theatre Scholarship honors a dedicated volunteer, while the AC & Norma Gehrig Memorial Scholarship is a tribute to the late Keith Gehrig's parents. This initiative reflects Edmonds Driftwood Players' commitment to fostering local talent and enriching the community through the performing arts.
