In March 2025, the Shoreline Fire Department responded to a total of 1,259 calls, underscoring their critical role in community safety. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) accounted for an impressive 86% of these incidents, amounting to 1,085 calls. This statistic highlights the increasing reliance on EMS for urgent medical care in the area. Fire-related incidents, while significant, were less frequent, comprising 13% of the total with 159 calls. Additionally, other emergencies made up a mere 1% of the calls, totaling 15.

These figures reflect the department's readiness and commitment to protect, rescue, and serve the community effectively. It is essential to recognize the dedication of the crews who respond to these emergencies, often in high-pressure situations.
