On August 26, 2011, a group of enthusiastic Park Volunteers made a significant impact at Lyon Creek in Lake Forest Park by engaging in a gardening day focused on removing invasive weeds. Coordinated by the LFP Stewardship Foundation, these monthly work parties are instrumental in promoting environmental stewardship while fostering a sense of community among residents.
