Quilt Raffle at Senior Center

Shoreline, WALocal News

Every year, the ThimbleBelle Quilters from the Shoreline Lake Forest Park Senior Center create a unique quilt to raffle off during their annual Holiday Bazaar, with this year’s quilt being displayed for the first time at the Shoreline Arts Festival. The queen-sized quilt, crafted with care by local quilters, represents artistic talent and community spirit. Tickets for the raffle are priced at $2 each and can be purchased from June 28 to November 1, 2014, at the Senior Center located at 18560 1st Ave NE, Shoreline. The funds raised from this event will directly benefit senior programs, enhancing the quality of life for the elderly in the area. By participating in this raffle, community members not only have a chance to win a beautiful quilt but also contribute to a worthy cause.

This initiative underscores the importance of local engagement and support for senior activities, fostering a strong sense of community. The event is an excellent opportunity for residents to come together, celebrate creativity, and support their local seniors. The ThimbleBelle Quilters invite everyone to take part in this meaningful event, promoting both art and community well-being.
