Burglar in Lake Forest Park may have carried a rifle

On November 26, 2021, Lake Forest Park Police responded to a theft of a motor vehicle and potential burglary at a home on NE 178 St. The theft had gone unnoticed for nearly 36 hours, raising concerns about security in the area. Upon investigation, officers discovered that the suspect accessed the residence through an unlocked window and may have stolen additional items. Surveillance videos indicated that the burglar was a white male, likely in his mid-20s to early 30s, and was seen carrying what appeared to be a semi-automatic rifle. In response to the incident, local patrol officers continued their investigation over the weekend, with a detective now assigned to the case to follow up on leads.

Authorities have reassured the community that there is no ongoing danger and urged residents to report any suspicious behavior.
