A tragic shooting incident at a homeless encampment in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood claimed the life of 39-year-old Carl Hatfield, igniting concerns about safety and violence within the community. The conflict reportedly arose over an electric scooter when the suspect, identified as "Bender," attempted to sell the vehicle, prompting a confrontation with Hatfield, who had previously accused him of stealing his phone.
