Over the past week, three women, aged between 73 and 80, have been targeted, with one incident resulting in serious facial injuries, including a broken nose, for a 77-year-old victim. Chief Kelley Busey noted that the attacks share similar characteristics, leading investigators to suspect that the same group may be responsible. While police have not yet established a solid description of the suspects, they are actively pursuing multiple leads. As the holiday season approaches, authorities urge residents to remain vigilant and take precautions, such as not leaving purses unattended in shopping carts.
