Fall City gun shop burglary foiled, suspects aged 13-21 caught after high-speed chase

An attempted burglary at Fall City Firearms on December 6, 2024, resulted in a high-speed police chase that ended with the suspects crashing their vehicle. A deputy from the King County Sheriff’s Office noticed two suspicious vehicles parked outside the gun shop just after midnight. When the suspects saw the police, they fled in a stolen Kia Sportage, leading authorities on a dangerous chase that reached speeds of 100 to 110 mph. The pursuit ended when the vehicle crashed, prompting four of the five suspects to flee on foot. With the help of a K-9 unit, all suspects were captured.

Ranging in age from 13 to 21, the suspects were found to have been involved in a series of vehicle thefts, as both cars used in the incident were reported stolen. Fortunately, the burglary was stopped before any property was taken or vandalized, and Fall City Firearms sustained no damages. This incident raises significant concerns about youth crime and vehicle theft in the area.
