Holiday Magic: Providing Gifts for Foster Children
The 36th annual Holiday Magic event, organized by KIRO Newsradio in partnership with Treehouse, aims to support over 6,500 children in foster care by delivering holiday gifts statewide. Scheduled for December 11th, the event will feature a dedicated call center where volunteers will announce various incentive items, encouraging community members to donate quickly for a chance to receive exclusive gifts. The Holiday Magic Auction will run from December 4th to 11th, showcasing 26 exciting auction items available for bidding. The day will be filled with engaging stories and guest appearances to inspire contributions to Treehouse's vital mission of supporting foster youth. This initiative seeks to alleviate the hardships faced by children in foster care, especially during the holiday season when they may feel particularly isolated.
Contributions made during this time will not only provide gifts but also support additional Treehouse programs and services throughout the year, highlighting the community's role in uplifting vulnerable children and the joy of giving during the holidays.
