The Coast Guard's reserve crew from Station Seattle responded swiftly to reports of flames near Duwamish Head Light, where a small pleasure boat was seen engulfed in fire. The dramatic scene was documented with photos showing the extensive flames that threatened the boat's integrity. Fortunately, the person onboard was able to jump into the cold water and escape harm. The Seattle Fire Department quickly dispatched three fireboats to the location, successfully extinguishing the fire within minutes.
