The season began with an exciting 40-14 victory over Eastlake, followed by a remarkable 64-0 win against Garfield, highlighting their offensive and defensive capabilities. However, a previous loss to O'Dea High School set the stage for a challenging rematch in the semifinals. Coach Dom Daste emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards, even among substitutes. In a hard-fought semifinal match, the Crusaders ultimately lost to O'Dea with a score of 17-14.
