New Schedule on the Way for Rockville Mayor and Council Meetings, Starting Oct. 7

The Rockville Mayor and Council will implement a new meeting schedule starting October 7, with meetings now commencing at 6:30 p. m. This change aims to improve accessibility for residents wishing to attend. Proclamations, which are formal statements recognizing significant events or individuals, will be presented from 5:30 to 6:30 p. m.

Furthermore, the Mayor and Council will hold a drop-in session for community members to interact with the mayor and a council member from 5:15 to 6:15 p. m. prior to the second meeting of each month. This initiative is designed to foster greater public participation and transparency.
