Renton police searching for convicted felon who cut off ankle monitor

Renton, WALocal News

The Renton Police Department is urgently seeking assistance in locating Jomauri Wilson, a 22-year-old fugitive with seven active warrants for serious offenses, including multiple counts of domestic violence and illegal firearm possession. Wilson was previously monitored electronically but escaped after cutting off his ankle bracelet nearly a year ago. Police discovered a significant stockpile of weapons at his home, including an assault-style rifle, and his residence has been targeted in multiple shooting incidents, raising serious public safety concerns. Police spokesperson Meeghan Black has emphasized the critical need to capture Wilson to prevent further violence.
