The transformation of the former South Sound Running stores in Olympia and Puyallup into Fleet Feet locations is set to take place in early January 2025, with the Olympia store reopening on January 2 and the Puyallup store on January 10. New owners Wade and Julie Pannell are excited to bring innovative “fit id” technology to the stores, which utilizes 3D foot scanning to assess the unique needs of each customer. This advancement aims to enhance the overall shopping experience by ensuring a more accurate fit for running shoes. In addition to the introduction of new fitting technology, the Fleet Feet stores will expand their product offerings to include popular brands such as HOKA, Altra, and On. The new management plans to continue the Capital City Marathon Training Program while also introducing diverse training options, including 5K programs and long-distance training for runners of all levels.
