Portland, ORLocal News

Two West Linn High School students, Cameron Tosado and Jaci Platt, are currently on life support following a severe car crash that occurred in the early hours of September 18. The accident took place along Southwest Borland Road when the couple lost control of their vehicle due to rainy conditions, crashing into a utility pole. In the wake of this tragedy, the local community has come together to hold a prayer vigil, providing emotional support and solidarity for the injured students and their families. Tiffany Murphy, one of the vigil's organizers, emphasized the critical need for prayer and community gathering during such trying times, stating that collective belief in recovery can lead to miracles. Both students have undergone surgeries, with additional medical procedures planned for the near future.

As the community continues to pray for their recovery, there remains uncertainty about the circumstances leading up to the crash. The focus now is on healing and providing comfort to the families involved. With plans for more vigils in the future, community members are encouraged to participate and offer their support.
