Quilt Guild Honors Veterans at TMF
The Sew and Sews Quilt Guild held a heartfelt presentation at the Treasure Mountain Festival in Franklin, honoring 22 military heroes from Pendleton County. The event, which took place on Saturday, was marked by a sense of community pride and gratitude towards local veterans. McKenzie VanDevander, esteemed as the first Miss West Virginia Military Star Junior queen and the National Military Star Junior queen, led the attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance, emphasizing the significance of the occasion.
